Meet Megan Bolger (She/Her)
Welcome! Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about me and how I can support you on your therapy journey. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina, my goal is to help clients reconnect with themselves.
Growing up in a neurodivergent home, with a chronically ill sibling, has taught me firsthand the stress, uncertainty, and complexity people can face on a daily basis. I know that even in life's hardest moments, there is room for resilience and growth. This experience has motivated me to help others.

My Counseling Background
I have experience supporting individuals across a wide range of mental health needs in both community and crisis settings. My first experience in the mental health field was in a residential program where I provided individual therapy, parenting support, and trauma-processing groups for women recovering from substance use while working toward reunification with their children. In the community mental health and outpatient settings, I have years of experience supporting clients in unmasking their neurodivergence, finding the root of trauma, and overcome challenges using evidenced based strategies including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT) for children, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My crisis experiences is comprised of conducting walk-in evaluations, crisis stabilization for high-acuity cases, and connecting adults, children, and families with the most appropriate level of care and ongoing support.
Who I Support
I welcome and support people of all ethnicities, backgrounds, cultures, and identities. In a safe and affirming virtual space, I support individuals navigating the obstacles of trauma, ADHD & Autism, mood disorders, cultural trauma, grief, and more.
If you constantly question your feelings, put others first at your own expense, or feel stuck in old patterns—you are not broken, and you are not alone!
